Overnight, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and encountered problems to water systems, as stated by city officials.

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was killed in a separate Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region in the country's south-east, based on information from area administrators.

Moscow has escalated assaults on electrical systems over the last fortnight, while officials has called for "concrete actions" from partner nations to exert influence on Russia.

"The necessity is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the America, European nations and the G7 - in providing protection systems and applying sanctions," mentioned in a social media post.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and several dozen rockets targeted the country's power systems, labeling such assaults as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were laboring to repair systems.

A wave of strikes hit electrical systems and residential structures in Kyiv.

Several of the people injured in the attacks on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by local officials.

Regional authorities said the city endured heavy assaults during nighttime hours. A minor was killed and several individuals were hurt.

The strikes succeed evenings of aerial attacks in the area, sections of which remain under the control of Russian forces.

All of Ukraine is under warning for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are more difficult to detect.

Authorities told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to demolish the national power system, with strikes already affecting gas facilities.

He said energy workers and government agencies were preparing for additional strikes.
